Forthcoming gigs.

Does my head in that the many social media channels are main form of finding out what’s coming on
This thread is a lifeline
Surely that's a big plus of FB etc ?
How else can you keep up to date with so much ?
It was mailing lists etc before
All the tip offs are coming from people who use it and dont think it's a waste of space .
If you follow all the venues and all the ticketing promo sites and the bands u like you're covered
Also it works out what you like and suggests

Seeing Mark and Lard at the Lowry tomorrow. Bit of nostalgia from my uni days - The Shirehorses played our freshers ball and I’d walk past the BBC in Manchester most days.

Got Field Music at Pop Recs on Thursday, Hue and Cry at Firestation on Saturday. Probably squeeze in Nutopians at gunners on Friday, sunderland music city gets better and better 😃

what was it like? i've tickets for when they're up here in march (hoping for the same uni nostalgia etc).

First one of the year for me on Sunday.

Brògeal at Three Tanners Bank. New venue to tick off the list. Swiftly followed by Longest Johns & El Pony Pisador at the Firestation on Wednesday.

Poor show having no January gigs.

Still would fancy Gurriers, Dreadzone & Pastel, but I’m pushing it a bit with going to Boro & Leeds too. Should have at least a couple of nights as a dad.

However, I’m pretty sure I’ll be at Bug Club at Pop Recs, as long as I can promise myself I’ll be a good boy, as I leave for a stag do in Madrid at 5am the following morning.

Memorials have been announced as the support for Jane Weaver at Pop Recs. This is great for me as I couldn't get to Memorials gig in Newcastle last year. Anyone going should be in for a great night.

Bulbils stuff is cheap as anything on Bandcamp. £1 an album or £20 for eighty.
I don't think I've listened to one of their releases yet. They were releasing stuff so often, it became too much so don't really know what to expect. Big Richard Dawson fan so I'm sure to find them interesting. I think The Quietus had the headliners at number 2 in their album of the year list. Only listened to it a few days ago but really enjoyed it.

I was considering it but was underwhelmed with Jane Weaver at the Cluny.
