Yeah the sound was shite in there, they've also got some weird VIP bit behind the bar.

What did the AAF singer say about CKY ? I couldn't quite make it out:lol:

New venue (kinda) in Newcastle from this week, Digital are starting to use their main room for gigs as well as the smaller ones they host at Think Tank. Probably about 1000-1200ish? Good news really, need another decent mid sized venue similar to Boiler Shop around the city centre in between Cluny and NX/City Hall sized rooms to try and get more acts up here.

Ghostface and Inspectah Deck from Wu Tang are there on Thursday night for the launch night and they've got that Kneecap band in December who are selling out everywhere they play at the minute.

Got that on Thursday, English Teacher tomorrow night and Ibibio Sound Machine on Friday both at Boiler Shop this week.

I think Newcastle has plenty venues
Getting the promoters to head this way is a problem and it's not suitable venues it's historic low sales .
You need all the great existing venues to be full and plentiful rather than add more . Only so much pie

Same band played to 70 people at the grove earlier in the year

I don’t think it’ll be a big seller to be honest. Well love it, but to a casual fan, it’ll not be a huge draw without Shane

I went to the Hackney gig unsure how well it would work but as soon as it kicked off it had a magical feel. It had the spirit, attitude and sound with guest performers who added something of themselves whilst honouring the band and Shane..This is a bigger scale but I think they'll carry it off.

I’m hoping that bouncy lass from Goat Girl is on bass. She was hypnotic.
 
Skids this Thursday at the Wylam Brewery..anyone been??..i've heard there's not much parking at the actual brewery and it's bit of a clart on to get to if you're not nearby??
