Forthcoming gigs.

Been to AC/DC at Wembley tonight. Was a bit dubious considering the band line up but was excellent.
Good stuff, was at Wembley and Etihad last time but with no Cliff or Phil I gave the long trip a miss, would have deffo been if they’d played SOL.

Ower the Moon you enjoyed it, Twitter comments are a bit mixed, mainly about the sound.

so tempted by ACDC in dublin, holding out booking a holiday next year in the hope theres a North American tour and i can fit it round that 😂
have just got tickets for Airbourne in March at the Boiler Shop (nee idea where that is)
and skindred at the Fire Station

the two foos gigs have reminded me why i love going to gig so much 😂

Boiler Shop is near the station, I saw Airbourne for the 4th time in Manchester last year, brilliant, can’t believe the venue they’re playing, it’s putting me off if it’s crammed and I can only see the tops of heeds.

PSB tomorrow night at Durham Cathedral

Was near the front of main standing fir mist of the gig, sound was brilliant, needed the loo so returned at the rear of the stadium for last few songs and the sound was abit muffled and echoey. I guess it depended where u were in the stadium, tbh most large gigs of this sort are like that.

Will do Tom A Smith & a couple of other on Sunday at Sunniside Live. Monumejt Festival. Main ones I’m after are Coral, Black Grape & Stereo MCs. After that Northern Kin.

In terms of proper gigs, just bought Mary Wallopers tickets for next year. Next normal gig is Alabama3 down in York in mid August.

Aye, I actually think SOL isn’t too bad, not too big, Murrayfield is awful, Wembley was ok when I went but we were on the second level, good seats, I’d hate to be back row at the end opposite the stage

Aye, as I say I was a bit dubious given the line up. I’ve seen them before and I reckon they’re probably the best band I’ve ever seen and I didn’t want to taint that.

The main reason I went this time was to take my two children with me. They’re 11 and 7. It was the first ever gig for my 7 year old and second for the 11 year old (she’s seen Little Mix before).

As with any stadium gig the sound is hitty missy depending where you are. It wasn’t perfect where we were and it’s apparent that Brian Johnson’s voice is not what it was. But he looked like he was having a whale of a time. And Angus is Angus, a bloody good guitar player, still full of energy.

I can understand the mixed comments but I thought it was great especially the memories of seeing my children being in awe of the whole thing.

Oh, and they’re still as loud as ever!

Got tickets to see Cyndi Lauper in Birmingham next year. Suppose it’s my punishment for dragging our lass all over Europe to see Depeche Mode.

You knew what I meant man. Awkward bugger

That said, when did they announce Sunniside live last year? Wonder if it’ll happen again.
Just wanted to make sure you weren't rocking up to the wrong place, but obviously done it with me usual sarcastic twatish patter
