Forthcoming gigs.

Just seen that Green Day were on in Glasgow last night, about a mile and a half from the Killers.
I was wondering why almost every other person walking around yesterday was wearing a GD t shirt.
Couldn't understand why they were so popular up there 🤣

Cannot whack seeing ya faves belting out the classics like.

They're not really my thing but I imagine they'd be a decent enough turn like. Me mate went to see them in Manchester recently.

Just looked at the setlist outta curiosity - Dookie and American Idiot in full, fuckin hell. Musta been on a while!
They came on about 8ish. Gig ended 10:45.
My friend saw me light up when they played a massive favourite of mine Brain Stew.
'I've never seen you so intensely happy before"
Worth it. Although knackered having to get a train from Glasgow to kings Lynn

Just got tickets for Paul Heaton in Leeds November 30th. More for the GF like, but we play Sheff Uts away that day, hoping for an early or 3pm KO then straight up the road for the gig

Got tickets a couple of days ago for a Jesse Malin benefit show in December to help with his medical bills. For those who don't know, Jesse had a spinal stroke last year and he's trying to recover from the resulting waist-down paralysis. Show is going to feature J Mascis, Lucinda Wiliams, Jakob Dylan, Adam and someone else from Counting Crows as a duo, Rickie Lee Jones - more to be added and some special guests too. Jesse is going to play his first live show since the stroke as well. Michael Imperioli and Mary-Louise Parker hosting. A bit of a kick in the nuts for us that they sold out straight away and just announced a second show with The Hold Steady (and just watch Frank T play the second night as well) but great news for Jesse!

There's also a great-looking album of Jesse covers coming out, incl Springsteen, Billie Joe Armstrong, Counting Crows, Elvis Costello, Frank Turner, Rancid, Dinosaur Jr, Susannah Hoffs etc

Just got back from gaz Coombes, the charlatans, and Johnny Marr down Scarborough open air theatre. Superb all of them. Met Tim as my mate is doing a guitar collab with him, then the charlatans walked in and started having a strum on it, then Johnny Marr, yes,JOHNNY f***ing MARR ,came in and started having a go of it. Shook his hand,I don't think I will wash it again!

Just read back,a bit tired last night, meant to say the charlatans guitarist Mark Collins walked in and had a strum on it,not the charlatans.

LCD Soundystem tonight up in Glasgow at Barrowlands. Seen ~300 live acts and pretty sure in saying that was the best gig I’ve ever been to.

Christ I wish I’d got a ticket for all three nights, what a f***ing band man.

Perfect venue as well, wouldn't be the same at the city hall
