Forthcoming gigs.

Had to Google it, turns out folklore! The lubberkin is typically described as a large, hairy man with a tail who performs housework in exchange for a saucer of milk and a place in front of the fire

It's a decent little DIY venue (smaller than Cobolt - same sort of vibe), right next to Alphabetti Theatre - really surprised that Goat Girl didn't sell more tickets.
Never been to Colbolt yet either. Had a quick Google maps & it looks like it’s in a back lane.

nee joy with the pre-sale for me this morning, into the friday free for-all for me...
It's wound me up no end. Kept selecting seats for Manchester and then it wouldn't let me have them. Pissed off.

Shit venue anyway so tempted to completely sack it off and hope for the summer.

what the craic after the gig? we're staying near liverpool street station & this will be our first visit to the london stadium.
It's a while now since I've been, but on previous visits that high speed train had stopped running by the time the gig kicked out. We've had to stand about for taxis.

Takes a while to get trains as they also have crowd control measures outside of the stadium. Thankfully we stay in canary wharf so overground trains weren't as bad as the underground

Nigh on £400 for a couple of Macca tickets, then another £160 for a hotel. Going to be living on tins of beans all summer.

It's the same day as the Manchester derby at the Etihad anarl.
