Forthcoming gigs.

Lottery Winners cracking at Independent tonight. Nice little intimate venue, first time I've been to see a band there. Really enjoyed it 👍

Managed to get myself a ticket for Foos next month, having failed to get them on first release. Saw them 6 years ago and they were amazing, so I'm absolutely buzzing.

Was a good night. Enjoyed Lots Of Hands and Fortitude Valley too.

Were you there for the Saturday too? One of the best days I've had for ages! Great weather, great beers in every venue and every band we went to see were on top form, except maybe Benefits who I couldn't make any sense of, music was overwhelmingly loud so he was just yelling incomprehensibly and I couldn't make out anything other than that he was clearly very angry.

3 Martha spin-offs on one bill, absolutely topper, can't have too much of those lovely people.

Our Saturday went:

No Teeth (Cumberland)
Me Lost Me (Cluny)
Get Wrong (Tyne)
Dilettante (Cluny)
Onsind (Cobalt)
Lake Poets (Cluny)
Benefits (Cluny)
Mouses (Little Buildings)
Ain't It Fun (Little Buildings)

Probable highlight of the day came at the end of the Lake Poets' set. It was good to see Marty with a proper band again and I was happy to see 3 of Lilliput in there who I used to love. However, I was a bit disappointed that he wasn't risking any new songs and when he started talking about being from Sunderland, and the lads, and how important this song was to a lot of Sunlun fans and I was thinking "f***ing hell, not Shipyards again, what a downer of a way to finish" when the band launched into an absolutely storming version of Ready To Go!
