Forthcoming gigs.

Nah. They’re really good. Songs about todays British society.

Think a cross between Idles, Young Fathers & Sleaford Mods

Listening to the Bob Vylan radio on Spotify now.
Good stuff
Way better than Dylan 😃

I duffed the Boiler Shop last year, gutted it did now. Does it work ok without a band? That’s a bit of a disappointment for me.

Young Fathers obviously have lots of backing tracks, but they’ve got about 6/7 people on stage, drums, Callum Easter doing different bits, the band doing the odd thing.

Bob Vylan is just two of them isn’t there?
Yes only 2 and Bob the drummer controls the soundtrack and echo effects.
It gives Bob the space on the stage to 'strut his stuff' and he fills the stage.
The show is just over an hour and it flew by.

They turned up at the venue, set up a stall to sell their merchandise, 1x T shirt, Bob himself mans it, does his show and afterwards he is back there selling and posing for selfies.

Nice blokes who put on a great show.
Worth seeing even if you are not a big fan.

Have difficulties with Alexa.
obviously get Dylan but when I say Vylan as in Rylan Bob Marley comes on.

Spot on, difficult to pigeonhole, last night was the Primordial Radio festival and they headlined after trash metal bands etc.

You might be, it is one of my favourite venues thru there.

Riverside has got to be the worst for me.
Despite recent “improvements”.
Think I was last there for black midi a month or so before the first lockdown so it’s been a while, I just stood up on the balcony out the way

Orbital last Friday in Brum were superb - the whole gig was an invasion of the senses !!

King Creosote this Friday in little Alnmouth of all places - then the Hacienda all-dayer in Leeds on Sunday :)
