Just came up when I opened link I spotted . Not sure the AH and a acoustic style laid back set go togetherThat’s not the Catacombs thing though
Brilliant picture. The slide guitar player( obscured a bit here) is brilliant. Gives already melancholy songs even more melancholy!Nice pic of a great gig. First time I've seen him solo (apart from the other 30-odd people on stage!).

Why not? Can’t think of a better place.Just came up when I opened link I spotted . Not sure the AH and an acoustic style laid back set go together.
By its nature ,unplugged acoustic type performances are small and intimate . Hear a pin drop stuff . I was at sage 2 last night ,small stage , maybe 100 people . Amazing gig.Why not? Can’t think of a better place.
It’s probably not gonna be acoustic maybe…By its nature ,unplugged acoustic type performances are small and intimate . Hear a pin drop stuff . I was at sage 2 last night ,small stage , maybe 100 people . Amazing gig.
Albert Hall is a massive domed room .
The little I read of Catacombs was basic power and equipment, so stripped back . It is what it is .It’s probably not gonna be acoustic maybe…
Chris Cornell did it so can be done. The little I read of Catacombs was basic power and equipment, so stripped back . It is what it is .
Of course it can be done ,I'm simply mentioning things work better in different settings .Chris Cornell did it so can be done.

Barry Hyde absolutely fantastic tonight at Redhills, with the Durham Miners Association Brass Band. I really like his 'Miners' Ballads' record (which is what they performed) though it's not got any brass on it!
Nice venue too, though it could do with a proper bar.
More brass tomorrow with Bill Ryder-Jones at the Gala, and then the mighty Martha on Thursday.
