Forthcoming gigs.

James decent yesterday but what an absolute gash venue that was.
They didn't use the proper concourse bars, just had tents outside with ice buckets to try and keep beer cold.
So it was £6.25 for a warm 440ml can of San Miguel.
Then at 9pm ish they ran out of lager in the whole place

Sounds amateur hour, that's a decent sized band too surprised it was ran so amateur.

Aye was shite, ending up drinking them shite cans of coke and vodka or something, rip off 🤣

Really really enjoyed James and also liked the Pigeon Detectives and The Kairos.

Wasn't sure about The Editors. Tom Smith seemed completely wasted.

Venue was absolute rubbish. Not enough catering and the queues for food were massive in between the Pigeon Detectives and Maximo Park.

Awful getting out at the end. They didn't remove the funnel to get into the Gold Circle, so it took ages for everyone to leave single file. By the time we got outside, the shuttle bus queue was massive. We stood outside for about 40 mins before finally getting on a bus back to the centre. Walked back to the car and went to go towards the A68 but the road was closed for repair work. Had to go back into the city centre and find the A167. Finally got home just before 1am 😴

Loved Editors and James were their usual excellence, unusually played a greatest hits set.

Venue could have been ok, good views but the stewarding and catering were shite. At the end they funnelled everyone in the front section out of one side.. stupidity. They eventually let people out of the other side after a couple of scraps but even then didn't open the exits from the stadium. What the hell for ? What were they hoping to achieve?

£6.25 for a can of warm beer is an absolute piss take, didn't bother with food but son disappeared for an hour to return with a crap pork sarnie that no doubt cost an arm and a leg.

We went yesterday too. Paul Smith was his usual excellent self & thought Maximo were quality.
Loved the Editors set & James were fantastic too.

We ended up leaving a bit early because of the complete lack of organisation. Could see it was going to be a nightmare. Managed to Uber back to the station and caught the train thankfully.

That said was nice to just be able to mingle about and the grass held up & weather held off. Wasn’t too busy - totally agree that festival prices are such a rip off. Think I’m almost immune to it now. Such a con.

Yeah prices are a rip off but you know to expect it.
Biggest big bear for me is if it's not cold, if you're going to bum me with the cost at least give me a cowld can and then don't run out of the fuckers

I ended up buying a pint of pimms for 12 quid when the lager sold out...

James were quality. Editors and Maximo were good.

Weather man got it wrong 😎

Was amazed no covering on the grass mind 😂

Pauline Murray and the Members are both on (not together) in the Holy GrAyle in Durham. Still awaiting @Sneech to get tickets for NE calling. Thinking about the Undertones/Neville Stapple at the boiler shop in October and the Rezillos at the Cluny in December.

Saw the Rezillos at Stone Valley last year. Wouldn’t bother again. Was like a nana doing pantomime
