Forthcoming gigs.

Big Thief were class tonight. Adrianne Lenker is ridiculously talented like. Fairly quiet between songs which is what you’d expect from a band like Big Thief so like clockwork some idiot stands up and shouts “WELCOME TO NEWCASTLE!” Completely oblivious that he’s attending the gig at The Sage, Gateshead.

Had a chat with her brother on the merch stand afters, looked like they made a killing. Good on them.

I mean, it’s not great, but it’s better than the football tourettes. “Toon toon” is normally the cry.

That was her brother??? Chatted to him for a bit narl. Seemed a nice fella. Can't believe they didn't play Masterpiece mind. Felt properly cheated. :lol:

She is amazing like.

Pissed off as Joan Shelley is playing a gig in London on the day I'm heading off on a golfing weekend with my mates.
 
The Howlers. Had one for their pre Covid tour that was cancelled. Their career seemed to taking off back then but I hope they’ve not gone to Pale Whitey.

I think that's true. No Vaselines. I was told there were playing but the tour poster reckons only London?
