They are quite nippy. I don't like how sluggish they are in the lower gears though (at speeds below 20mph)

My wife has a 1.0 Focus Ecoboost 125bhp, it's really quick tbh and a class car for the price, cheap insurance and tax too.

I have one. The engine is great for a 3-pot engine. Plenty of punch but as mentioned can sometimes chug a bit at low speed

Surely it depends on what it is being used for. Mine is purely commute and dotting around the doors.

Im guessing you arent including the Fiesta ST in that argument as that is one hell of a car

Fiesta might be okay but the focus 1.0 was pretty shite,had to rev the tits off it to get anywhere. They will be lucky to last 100k imo

In comparison to the astras, Hyundais and other focuses we have. Still prefer the bmws though
