Football Manager North East Move

Hello,

I am a football manager enthusiast and like to create databases.
How would Sunderland fans feel if the North East broke away and joined Scotland?
I am thinking of creating this, would you be offended? Embrace it? Etc..

Something like

Celtic
Rangers
Sunderland
Newcastle
Middlesborough
Aberdeen
Hearts
Hibernian

Do you think it would be a decent league?
 


Don't think anyone would be offended but unsure whether you'd get much interest at all especially when it's at the point of the year where a lot of people are just waiting for FM23 to start playing again.

i was considering starting a new game with the 10th their english league database but can't be bothered with it for the reason above.
 
possibly a bit uncompetitive. Chuck a few more northern teams in, Leeds, Sheff Wed, Huddersfield for me. Lancashire/Yorkshire upwards and leave out the Manchester teams and Liverpool
 
Be pretty boring tbh, league would look something like this most seasons.

Skunks
boro or Safc
Celtic
Rangers
