I say that every year about the previous year's saved game.I’ll not be getting the new one, can’t cope with losing my 2019 saved game.
My current game I started unemployed with only the South African league playable, got a job in charge of Royal Eagles in the second tier and within about 5 years had won the Club World Championship with them. I got a bit bored with them so I added the US league and started applying for jobs. Had a couple of interview and got given the job in charge of New York Red Bulls, who I then went on to win the Club World Championship with after another three years or so.
Again started getting bored (The US league is buggy as hell) and so I added the English leagues and got invited for an interview for Man Utd (without me even applying for it). They didn't give me the job unfortunately (they gave it to the current England manager who told them he couldn't even take over the job for about 6 months ), but looking at their squad list, staff list and facilities, made me really want a crack at a genuinely massive club.
So my current aim is to win everything we're in for again this year with NYRB to bump up my profile further, and hopefully get a job with one of the big teams next season. Tempted to add the Spanish, French and Italian leagues too, to open things up a bit more. Maybe aim for a job with Barca, Real, one of the Milans, Juve or PSG or someone similar.
Then again, I'm also tempted to try out the J-League or a team in China as the next step in my career. Decisions, decisions.
Anyway, my point was, after spending so long on this career game to get to this stage, I don't think I'm ready to chuck the career away and start anew on FM20 just yet.
I'll probably grab it in next year's Steam Summer Sale.
