I was diagnosed with leukaemia and was told without treatment I had 2 weeks to live. I had a bone marrow transplant in September 2024 I was told it’s 50/50 chance of it coming back in two years and if it did they couldn’t do anything else for me, so you can imagine the worry I’ve had the last 20 months. Thanks to the team doing so well it’s been therapeutic took some of the worry away and has given me something to look forward to every week. Football and life
 

I wish you all the very best with it.

Football, for me, has transcended sport or hobby. As an autist, undiagnosed at the time, it allowed me to converse and connect with family members at times I would have struggled and provided escapism when life was not particularly pleasant. I'll forever love the club for what it's meant for my time, regardless of success, etc.
