I forgot to add, I used two bits of primary data. The ISS is 408km high and the radius of the earth is 6,371km. Do you dispute these?

The rest is just geometry.

:rolleyes: Pear shaped! all the water will flow to the bottom of the earth, just like it does with the tides.
 
There's a beautifully worded scientific argument that goes thus -

Aye, everything we can observe in the visible universe is roughly spherical, but here we are, f***ing frisbee-ing through space.
 
It shows that when enough time passes, some people start disbelieving things that were scientific fact not too long ago.

The moon landings is another one, even though there is no scientific proof to to back up their 'argument'. When moutains of proof is provided in the contrary, they just ignore it as conspiracy. Thats why you never win with them.
