Nah don’t give them the satisfaction of thinking they’re right that “green tops” are what we play all our Tests on. I’ve fallen into a social media trap this week trying to explain that I’ve never seen a “green top/mamba” whatever they want to call it for a Test match in England but it’s like talking to a brick wall

I’m with you. I can’t ever remember us preparing one, not recently anyway. However, I’ve learnt they’re so blinkered that even if we produce 5 roads they’ll still claim they’re green tops because NONE of them I’ve encountered understand how swing works anyway.

That being said, we might aswell prepare green seamers :)
I think we’ll beat them at home assuming Jimmy is fit but they do have a world class seam attack now as well

They’re decent, but history suggests they can’t bat for shit when the ball swings/seams a bit.

Aye true that as well. “ITS THE f***ing OVERHEAD CONDITIONS MAN!!!” Although sometimes it isn’t just that of course but if they can’t get the first bit then no point going any further.
