First time in my life

Amount of times this season we’ve been able to comfortably see out wins and draws, for a newly promoted side, is incredible. Coming up against sides with a value much higher than our own the vast majority of the time too.

Fewest touches today for our starters were rigg (27) and Brobbey (29) according to my ITK.

Most Xhaka with 83. Alderete on 75.

Most of the rest around 50, give or take.

I wouldn't particularly say any don't want to do something positive with the ball.

Only Alderete and Reinildo didn't register either a shot or a key pass today from the outfield players, but as mentioned OA had second most touches.

Who are the two?

Who are the other two?
Ok - I just don’t want to come across as somebody who is having a go at players unnecessarily

The first is Rigg. He does show for the ball every time he’s in a position to. My criticism is that he generally receives it in a stationary position. However I put this down to his experience and in time will look more for balls being played into spaces he should be, rather than where is he is.

The second is O’Nien. I think he may be playing at a level above where his average is. I know once today he looked like prime Beckebauer carrying the ball out of defence, skinning Richarlson and popping a decent cross in, but generally I feel he looks to complete a simple pass rather than getting his head up and looking for a tougher but better pass.

I’m a big fan of both players and they play a part in what is a very very good team.

We have 9 of 11 players looking to receive and do something positive with the ball.

It’s unfair to single the two out who I don’t think do this currently but it makes such a change to having only 1 or 2 who would show for the ball.
I can't think of the 2 who you don't think do it.

Edit:- just seen your 2. Massively disagree on both

That’s fair enough
I reckon roefs is one of them.

No idea who the other is as both are centre halfs are doing so
I think Roefs is tremendous and my only criticism there is that I don’t think he releases the ball fast enough - but that might be strategic as we sit deep

And the 1st time I have 9 favourite players (I really can't choose one): Roefs, Mukiele, Ballard, Alderete, Reinildo, Xhaka, Sadiki, Le Fee, Brobbey. With Talbi close to becoming a favourite too. Losing any of them would hurt.

O’Nien always happy to receive the ball and can pass it long probably better than Alderete (and Ballard)

I never said the two players weren’t happy to receive the ball (my comment was about seasons past) - but in my opinion Rigg and 09 aren’t as positive as the other 9 on the pitch.

I think both have been amazing in terms of effort and commitment

All I can do is focus on the other 2.....
