He's taking wickets at pretty much the same rate Botham did so if he plays 100 tests then he'll be thereabouts.

To be fair if he can get around 400 he'll be in the company of Ambrose, Pollock, Hadlee, as well as being England's highest wicket taker, that's pretty good going then. I was under the mistaken impression that alot more folks, including the above, were on about 500+.

Have they? Kiwis have bowled well, the ball is wobbling both ways, no pace in the pitch and outfield is like a bog. Under-par but hardly an 'abortion'.
