First test - England v India - Edgbaston

Cracking result, never in doubt. Glad I lumped a tenner on us to win when Kohli was swinging the bat on Thursday

I'd expect Woakes/Porter for Stokes to be the only change for Lords. Malan will get a 2nd (and probably 3rd) chance. Winning the game papers over the cracks.
The case for a change for Malan (beyond a simple lack of form) is his morale appears to be gone and they may judge that leaving him in the team won't improve that and may make it worse but letting him play County cricket may mean he can recover and come again.

But I wouldn't be against Burns or Hildreth (tho he is pretty aged) getting a game.

What's the crack with Kohli/India and TMS? Seemed to be some sort of disagreement over whether they could speak to him after the match? Listening to the podcast and Aggers had to stand in his way after the TV interviews in order to try and get a few words from him.

The BCCI think they’re better than the BBC basically. In fact, the BCCI think they’re better than most people.

I’m taking a guess, but I don’t think it’ll be too far from the truth - it’ll be a pay dispute I imagine. The same reason that Sky were broadcasting from a studio in London the last twice we’ve toured there. Probably tried to hold British media to ransom or didn’t like a story that was ran about them.

Aye that was my guess. One of the two but most likely money.

Wish FTECB would tell the convict press to fuck off when we go over there mind

I'm sure when they were last over here four years ago Dohni stopped talking to TMS after the toss as he said it interrupted his preparation time before the start of play. Nowt to do with money of course....

Is Overton fit enough? He's been injured on and off for the last three seasons, remodeled his action and lost a bit of pace.

Porter does the McGrath/Philander fourth stump thing which is generally more effective than swing at Lord's.
Will woakes return

Test cricket is boring, they said.
Test cricket is dying, they said.

Fools.
Sammy Curran isn't ready they said fools
