Jack Diamond is the closest.

Its comes to a point where you need to show some faith. The likes of Benji, Brandon Taylor, Jake Hackett, Jordan Hunter, Dan Neil, Cole Keirnan, Anthony Patterson (assuming there are all still here) should be included in part of our squad
Half of them are terrible

My mate’s cousin plays for Harrogate and reckons Diamond is very, very highly rated down there.

Taylor, Hackett, Hunter, Neil & Kiernan absolutely shouldn’t imo. I can’t even see a case for them

You think we only need 1 striker say they get injured you are happy to be left with Wyke, grigg benji and kiernan to fire us to promotion, oh and we need a lwb

Yeh i have they can't even win at there own level,
Until any of them go they are part of the squad. We need to get out of the habit of replacing anyone who are still here. So to answer your question yes 1 CF

And with the young lads it needs to come to a point where lads are given a chance. Show a bit faith
Exactly what I said

Faith what makes you think players that can't beat people at a lower level can be good enough to get us promoted

Neil and Kiernan definitely have really good potential to be good players still young. The other 3 have half decent experience now to be part of the squad

It’s as much about making the pathway to the first team clear for the future as it is about next season. Until we make a clear priority of the development of young players we will be prone to losing them. Besides a first team squad of 18-20 doesn’t leave much room for significant appearances in any case. Only a maximum of 14 players ever make the pitch. Having kids like Taylor sat on the bench from time to time will make little difference to the performance of the team. And one of them might just surprise us. That’s before you consider the benefits of having our wage budget concentrated in 18 senior pros rather than spread over 23.

Am I saying scrap our first team and play our u23s? No I'm not. Have a core group of around 18 really good quality 1st team players the rest made up from u23s.

Get games over who? These lads would be squad players
Well say we sign a few cbs to go with Willis and Flanagan Taylor wouldn't get minutes, if we play one up front and its a new player, and we have grigg and Wyke would kiernan get minutes

Taylor is small and weak for a cb, if they are good enough they will get a chance like hume, if we had better young players id agree but apart from diamond we don't.
