Makes you wonder if we've had a little slap on the wrist regarding our wage bill. The intention could well of been to spend, only for someone in the FA to give us a gentle nudge. It's the only explanation I can think of. Not sure how closely these are monitored.

Doubt it. We have a habit or appearing go pull funding mid window. Done it the last 3 summers now iirc
 
Di Canio and Gus sussed the culture here, Di Fanti has blown the whistle on Short. It looks like not too much has changed so why be surprised?

Somewhere in between I think mate. I think he expected far more outgoings thus more to spend. Our problem is who is here as much as what we need.
