starc unlikely to play...off topic but gower has been sacked by sky the ashes is his last gig, looks like botham will go too, isa guha the new lead presenter.
even though aussie insiders are saying siddle more suited to edgbaston than starc it may just be mind games

Don’t know why I watch all this preamble it does my knapper in, I know, I know, I can turn it off and back on for the start, but it’s the Ashes man, c’mon England.

I like Isha but would rather have Gower and Beefy on

Well, I'd rather we batted, but hopefully we can put them under a bit of pressure.
I don't have a great deal of faith in our top order, so if we bowl well, it could take the pressure off our batsmen.
Ha'way lads

Obviously ya never know how the pitch is going to pan out but I’m a bit baffled that we look to have produced a flattish wicket which the bowlers we have, hope I’m 100% wrong

It will offer enough. And we have enough skills to move it through the air. Strangely, I'm confident..... Which means the Aussies will pile the runs on.

Preamble on the morning of the first day of a test series is class man.
