Can't wait to see it, by the way, other notable West Indians on the SA rebel tours were Lawrence Rowe, Alvin Kallicharran, Sylvester Clarke and Nottinghamshire legend Franklyn Stephnenson (only 2nd man since 1969 to score 1000 runs and take 100 wickets in a county season....name the other??)

Derrick Parry who was pro down Horden for over ten years also went on that tour iirc

ta:)

will probably give that one a go too

Hope you didnt think I thought Botham played in the last ashes series mind;)

1983-4 squad: Lawrence Rowe (c), Hartley Alleyne, Faoud Bacchus, Sylvester Clarke, Colin Croft, Alvin Greenidge, Bernard Julien, Alvin Kallicharran, Collis King, Monte Lynch, Everton Mattis, Ezra Moseley, David Murray, Derick Parry, Franklyn Stephenson, Emmerson Trotman, Albert Padmore (manager).

One of the best ever pro's in th DSL

Oh yes, the man was a machine. Best thing about him was he never tried to be flash and slog to show off. If Horden needed 50 off 10 overs or so he would go about his business and knock them off with no fuss and no going for big shots

Saying that when big shots were needed they were not many better in local leagues from what I have seen

Class act and when looking at all round game and service given for me the best to play in the local league. Played for about 13 years or so missing only one year iirc
