ECB common sense now the lunatic is leaving the asylum
Sounds like they are also working through the issue on whether they can play games behind closed doors.
e.g. can the opposing team travel and find a hotel to stay and be safe - obviously in they have to travel via Derbyshire the police will arrest them!

In the ECB statement they say that the England players will NOT be asked to take a pay cut. Really ?
In reality, they are expecting the County cricketers to take a pay cut, to help their own Counties.
Thought we were all in this together ?
Just read that Tom Harrison, Chief Executive of ECB has written to the PCA "expecting" County players to take a 20% cut in wages.

Its not that, they wil, but at the last deal the England joined together with PCA so all of the proffesionals in the county game got paid more, so the pot was split between everyone, as they realised some counties were paying players minimum wage of less

so now this goes back to the PCA

they are waiting for advise from PCA and a proposal, so its not true to say that they wont or dont want to take pay cut like some journos suggested
