Of course, getting a player of that calibre would stun the footballing world, along with us fans, but when it comes to the actual football side of things, would a player that's always played in a team littered with 100m+ players be as effective in a more industrious side like ours or would that money be better spent on two players of good quality? I'm thinking Yilmaz for a wide role and Maza as a No.10 just off the top of my head.
I think the lad would turn us down even if we could agree on a fee with Barca, but its great fun being linked with names like this.

Nothing imminent according to RLB. I had thought we’d bring in a couple players early doors but clearly not, think it could be a quiet window.
The squad is clearly good enough for survival and probably a mid-table (12th-8th) especially with the AFCON lads coming back, they might think there’s better value for money in the summer and wait til then.
