Signing most ya signings from relegated sides. What could possibly go wrong

Don't think it matters unless they're absolutely shot through it. All about the quality and I think that's the problem with who they've signed.

Larsson was a bad signing now?!

He wasn't but collectively it was a bas summer of signings given what we'd been doing and the way we were looking. In term of being a good servent he ended up being good signing as we were moving downwards. In terms of the players he was replacing he was poor.

No problem with signing the best players from relegated sides.

Pickford to Everton
Maguire to Leicester

It's when you sign the also rans. He wasn't even their best centre half, Mawson was. Rondon looks mediocre as well, fancy the Mags to be there or thereabouts this season. Only Cardiff look worse IMO.

Exactly. some of our better players have been relegated at some point: Quinn, Phillips, Defoe, Bent. Players like Roy Keane have too. People always equate signing relegated players to Vaughan, Larsson and Gardener but the problem was there they were not very good, average and had the season of his life but average. Ki might help the mags but isn't exactly made of stern stuff, Rondon I like but is shit in front of goal and I can't say I've been impressed with Fernandez. Just seem pretty desperate signings.
