FEBRUARY technique challenge - Brenizer

oROSSo came joint first in November's competition alongside Steeeeed, and was given the task of choosing February's theme/technique.

He has chosen "The Brenizer method of taking portraits".

Well, the deal was the winner gets to choose a theme and most were in agreement with this. I don't think a harder month (for just one month) is all bad. A challenge is always a good thing and maybe we can all learn something. And as there are three themes running concurrently there will be something for newcomers to dig their teeth into - so I say let the technique challenge stand.

Just had a play with this and it might be quite tricky.

When I threw the photos at a stitching program, it took one look at the blurred background and told me there was no way it could find any matching points. Even trying to find these manually wasn't easy as nothing was clearly defined...and all that was at a relatively small aperture so will only get harder when it is done properly.
