This is the correct answer. Any version with a mass pipes band is usually top notch. It's also a tune that can have me bawling my eyes out as a lone piper played it at one of my best mate's funerals.

Was the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title, though as said by @Martin F , John Farnham certainly deserves a mention.
Strangely about 10 minutes ago, my wife was just playing a video of a friend of hers doing the bagpipe bit on violin and asked if I could learn the guitar lead bit on the face-off bit to do as a duet with her when we meet up in a couple of weeks.
