That's my least favourite, strangely. Rewatched it all recently and kept that episode till last. Speed and My Lovely Horse are my top 2.

Speed was probably the best episode they made.

New Jack City is my favourite. I like the idea of a priest listening to jungle music at 3am as my alter-ego.

Used to stay with my Gran and Granda on a Friday night, they'd usually go round the club for a few hours and leave me to it so I'd sit and watch the comedy on Channel 4. No idea why but this one week my Granda didn't go to the club and it was when the first episode of Father Ted aired.

He really didn't get it, spent the whole time asking what it was and if I just sat and watched it every week. Told him about 20 times it was new and I'd never seen it before. It was the episode where the fair came to the island, proper had me in stitches. Whenever I catch that episode now I always think of me Granda completely confused by it.

I was amazed the first time I saw an interview with Frank Kelly who played Father Jack. A million miles away from his character in every aspect. He must have loved it.
