i knwo im not mbh but if you want my take on it i'd say no, not if we stay even reasonably health.

if you consider we have 4 spots open for pure bowlers [with ben stokes & blacky as all rounders]

- liam plunkett

- steve harmsion

- graham onions

- scott borthwick

imo nailed on to start every game possibe

that leaves Callum Thorp, Mitch Claydon, Mark Davies, Chris Rushworth & Ruel Braithwaite fighting to be selected when an opening appears and i'd guess in roughly that order, maybe davies higher up if/when fit.

ive left ben harmy & breesy out as i cant see them in the 4 day side..

I think he'll play a decent amount of the one day stuff, where the likes of Killeen and Gidman have filled in previous years

oh aye thats a fair point, to be honest i was only talking about the 4 day stuff, i dont think onions, harmy or puds will see much one day action this year hopefully, giving the rest of them plenty of one day/t20 games to fill in

Was Holland's bowling coach at the World Cup after some grade coaching in India. Not really relevent, but still a good fact.

I spoke to his Dad at the University game and it sounded as though Chris was resigned to playing a bit more for Sunderland this year due to the return to fitness of a few lads such as Onions.

However knowing our luck with injuries he's almost bound to play a few - but not as many as last year I would imagine.

Chris is a nice lad BTW. His Dad is a cracking fella. He walks his little dog around the Durham ground.

Didnt know he'd been coaching in India. Where at?

TBH Annfield Plain sounds like a canny club to play cricket at. Not only does Killeen coach the kids but I'm told that the likes of Breese also joins in occasionally.
