Unreal win tonight. Boldon CA were 78/0 in the 15th over chasing 111 and we somehow won. Needed a miracle and we got 8 wickets in 30 balls.

Poor debut. We were bowled out for 89. I got 5 batting at 9, then bowled 2.3 overs for 17 runs. Home to bishop auckland tomorrow, i'm not looking forward to that.
My son joseph took his first wicket tonight for blackhall U11's V Seaton Carew but he lost his wicket 3 times and they got beat by 1 run

My youngest son plays for blackhall u11's, they play friday or saturdays, my eldest son plays for blackhall U13's and they play sunday mornings. In thier league are teams from, Darlington, Barnard castle,Stockton, Whitby and Richmond. I would not be able to get back to play when they play away games. I had to make a choice of either being a shelfish bastard or give them a go. I moved to Blackhall to play but to be fair i think i'll struggle this season playing 2nd team as it's a very strong league.

I missed the boat. I played junior cricket up until 1990 and never played again until 3 years a go. One of the biggest regrets of my life but at the same time i've had a cracking 2 seasons with a cracking set of lads. I took 47 wickets last season for 2nd and 3rd teams so i leave with a personal triumph and it's my bairns turn now.
 
You will love watching your lads mate whatever level they play you will play in the same team
Then they will become better. My lad is better then I ever was bet yours are to lol ;-)

I'm nee good at watching. Tonight i nearly got him run out because i shouted run. Then i shouted No, i got some funny looks but i think i was on my 4th or 5th pint haha
