£3 not cheap for a pint in 2024
I'm a bit out of touch of these sort of beers. Guinness yeah fair point it's not too bad. Caffreys tolerable. I'd rather drink water than Carling. Certainly would not pay money for any of the others
Guinness is back in vogue. If stored/poured correctly then it’s nice.

Madri = Coors with different hops iirc but is ok.

What’s your tipple of choice? I prefer IPA e.g. Sharp’s Atlantic.
NEIPA, DIPA, west coast, a nice sour. Imperial stouts. Just about to open a Northern Monk and then after the match going to flash house which I've been wanting to visit for ages
Guinness is a good drink & at £3 is cheaper than you’ll get in 9/10 bars
Yeah fair point re Guinness being ok. Can't remember the last time I bought it out though

Drove past it today and from the gen on here knew it was up and running. Looked a bit shit tbh from the outside, isolated by a dual carriageway and in the middle of a building site.

Seems a bit daft investing millions in a showpiece central square with top notch venues then deciding to have another smaller shittier pop-up version nearby.

Does seem poorly planned but isn’t run by the council is it? If so why would t they put it in keel square? Surely someone else is running it move it to where it is makes no sense otherwise.
