Fan at the end with johnson

Have just watched that Robbie Savage/Macclesfield programme on the Beeb, imagine Johnson running into the crowd to try and calm the hooligans………nah he’d walk away.

I was imagining LJ looking directly at him and pointing the v right at him going off his radio call. In reality its a dismissive half arsed gesture as he turns away. If that has upset him, maybe football isn’t for him.
Maybe football isn’t for you if you think that?

The manager is a little shite, nee fucker likes him

A little shite? Nee fucker likes him because he is a bit more than a little shite. He has been God awful since Day 1. The idea is to appoint managers who are better than the ones that went before not worse. The idea is to improve results so you look like a team capable of promotion, not merely stay up, which is what drawing at home to Oxford fooking United was. Teams who go up do not draw 1-1 with a team like Oxford.

And if you think for a moment that is worth putting up with for a second longer then your having a laugh.

Complaining about this on the radio man.

Good to see the vast majority aren't using this as another stick to beat Johnson with.

Do you have a link to the footage that is being widely shown?

Because I know what I saw, the bloke clearly knows what he saw. And because I know what I saw, I waited and watched the blokes reaction and second interaction with Johnson.

To the second point, I don’t think what the bloke said warranted the reaction Johnson gave. Johnson, as manager, should have been professional and ignored it or at the very most, shaken his head at him. You can’t be telling paying customers to fuck off. Johnson spent good parts of the game shouting at officials and none of them flipped the Vs at him. They showed professionalism.

Aye. It’s a figure of speech albeit an awkward term in football. But when money is handed over in exchange for a service provider that’s what people are.
Johnson is paid good money. Given the poor results of the past two months people are going to be frustrated. Im not condoning the fans behaviour because it is wrong. However, Johnson's behaviour is unacceptable.

Just because your paid good money doesn’t mean you’ve got to take the stick or can’t answer back

used to hate it when fans would sing bike songs bout players & if certain player reacted the fans would complain to the polis or stewards

What’s this customer bollocks ? I’m a fan . Customer 😂Haway man
Semantics. In terms of someone paying to be at the ground yesterday he is a customer whether you like it or not.

If he had been shopping in M&S's would it have been acceptable for an employee to stick two fingers up.

If we were winning games and playing well there would be no issues. People are frustrated.

The fan (customer) is in the wrong and so is Johnson.

Like I said Hank the fan is in the wrong. I recognise we have a lot of gobshites. If Johnson wanted a frank discussion with him I have no problem with that. If you give it you have to take it. However, sticking two fingers up is not acceptable.

Johnson’s response was unprofessional and disproportionate. Reception staff at a hotel can’t tell customers to fuck off if they’re being a pain in the arse, waiters can’t tell diners to fuck off if they complain about their food, doctors can’t tell patients to fuck off when they’re complaining about appointment delays, teachers can’t tell parents to fuck off when they complain about incidents in school.

It’s just basics really.

Without hearing the bloke giving him stick or seeing anything that happened I’d like to say this and cover both bases.

some fuckin halfwit giving u stick who’s probably never kicked a ball in his life would get on ya nerves when it’s obvious that the manager doesn’t want to have a bad performance from his team and ultimately be let down by one stupid error from an individual that’s sort of out if his control.
so I’m that sense I can see why the manager would be tempted under the circumstances to tell the knacker to piss off or whatever.

flip side of that is I can see why people are starting to get fucked if with this bloke and his decisions and tactics.

once u start reacting to muppets in the stands ya on a hiding to nothing.

Johnson seems like he knows which way the direction is blowing and he’s starting to react.

our football today again was dreDful and he has to take responsibility for it.

Having seen the footage which is posted else where don’t think LJ does stick the vs up at the fan

The performances and results aren’t good enough atm, but I do have some sympathy as the injuries in full back positions have undoubtedly had a significant negative effect on the team

How is it we can play very well in the second half of yesterday game but gan a goal ahead we let Oxford back into it

had we the second half performance after we went ahead almost certainly we’dve won
