My Aunt's sister married Ray Wood, he swapped seats with Duncan Edwards, someone did not want to play cards :eek:
 
Scored a hatrick against the mags playing for Sunderland school boys. Still have the paper clip after 30 years. My 4 old son is being brain washed what it means to us. Wife doesn't get it, keeps saying grow up!
 
Me dad kept a certain Jimmy Montgomery out of the school team (St Hilda's). Monty had to play at centre half because me dad was the better keeper.

Me dad also went to St Hildas. Was best mates with Jimmy Monty. Jimmy used to throw a tantrum if you put one past him! Me old man also used to deliver papers for the late great
Jimmy Connor.

Me Granda had a cousin who was on the books at Sunderland but he never made it through the first world war.
