Is this the same problem as before, just Messenger this time?

With Google Chat, if history is turned off, are messages deleted individually after 24 hours or are they deleted in bulk 24 hours after the first message of a conversation? Once deleted, can messages be recovered locally via cookies or Web page buffer, etc.?

In messenger ? I cancelled a message that hadn't been read at their end yet ,they still got it

If you message someone then delete the message because you regret sending it (in my case, time sent rather than content - messages weren't too late, but still), is there a beep at the other end when the deletion happens? I know a notification stays at the other end saying a message has been deleted.

Yeah messenger can too but the person is told that the message was unsent

Break into their house, quietly iof course, find their phone, hack into it if it's got a password. If it's fingerprinted, drug them first before using their finger to unlock it. Then delete the said message from their phone and also from your phone. Job done.
