F1 2026

If Russell isn’t winning the title this year, Toto will 100% be eyeing up Verstappen again for next season. Can tell he’s feeling the pressure already.

Make no mistake that Bearman crash is the warning. If they don’t do something about these rules someone is going to get seriously hurt

Lot been made of the safety car but I think Kimi would’ve had it anyway
It's a different car in clean air, as soon as the mercedes were stuck behind cars they couldn't pass them so I think the safety car definitely got him the win. After that though he drove brilliantly.

Yes Kimi !!

Love him, really reminds me of Senna and looks like the bloke aswell
Reminds me of Senna coming into Lotus in 1985 and overshadowning his more experienced teammate De Angelis. Schumacher did it to Piquet in a brief few races and thereafter Brundle. Hamilton did it to Alonso. Verstappen did it to Ricciardo.

And Antonelli is doing it to Russell.

Love to see it. And he's so likeable with it!

Verstappens comments about wanting to quit are BS.

He’s desperate for a merc seat.

I also think Russell’s position is massively under pressure. If he’s not comfortably ahead in the championship by the summer break I think toto will go for max.

Will end up potentially Russell in a situation to Damon hill in 96. Frank Williams terminated his contract mid season and opted to keep the far less experienced Villeneuve for 97, was extra motivation for hill to win what he knew would likely be his only shot at a title, which he stepped up to.

I foresee an exact same scenario here.

Only difference is hill was/is a far more likeable bloke than Russell.
