F1 2026

Seems like that win has pushed Kimi up another level at least in confidence for this week, thought we were set for a Russell walkover season but could be interesting

I was overly hopeful and picked Kimi to outperform George on here last season and stuck to it for this year, fingers crossed this is the year !

Never liked George after the Bottas crash at Imola and his attitude then

I thought he was still going to be maybe another year away from properly challenging and could hopefully pick up a few wins to at least make it interesting race by race if not for the championship, it may still play out that way but he’s certainly started well so far

Aye very early days. Let's wait until the pressure really ramps up. Signs are good so far though.

At least if the Mercs are ahead of the rest, its going to be an entertaining battle.
Unlike when Red Bull had an 1st and a 4th driver

Leclerc still beat Norris despite screwing up in S2 there.

I'd like to think it'll be a decent race, but the gaps are massive between the Mercs and the rest.
Nothing better than seeing Max crying because his car isn't good enough for the front. Out qualified by his teammate lol.
Its a thing of beauty!

What time does the build-up start tomorrow morning, allowing for the clocks reset? I’m not sure if the Sky website is allowing for the clocks.

It's correct. Japan is at GMT+9 all year and doesn't change its clocks. By early Sunday morning we will be at GMT+1. Local start time is 1400, 0600 here.

Reactions: Boo
Leclerc was fuming at the end of qualifying with how shit these new regs are. Can’t blame him really, qualy is absolutely terrible viewing this season.

Be hilarious if Kimi starts consistently beating George like.
The meltdowns would be glorious
It does seem like people have entirely forgotten that when Lewis was winning his titles, his team mate would quite regularly beat him, especially in the early season.
Max had a free hit every time he had a better or fairly equal car because his rivals had viable team mates.

State of this man. Antonelli’s pole lap but they can’t call it onboard because it cuts away right where the clipping happens.
