The new power units are a technical marvel, but they're also completely and utterly crap.

Did the stewards say they aren't giving a sporting penalty because it wasn't the drivers fault?

Br very surprised if that's the case, and they (and you) are wrong if they did.

If Mercedes fuel Kimi's car with an illegal fuel tomorrow, or fit a non-compliant part, or release him into the path of another driver then that won't be his fault either, but he'll still be penalised.

The best way to make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen is to issue meaningful penalties, which they've declined to do here.

Not to promote betting. But if anyone does like a dabble, skybet are offering 2/1 for russell win and fastest lap. Surely only reliability can get in the way of that?

Think this race is a total lottery more than any race in a long time, I don’t think the teams actually know what to expect from a full race.

If the reports are to be believed Mercedes should gallop off into the distance.

Lando is not happy with his 2026 McLaren.

Expect Max to slice through the field until he crashes into a slower car.

Lewis to finish P7.
 
Morning all F1 nuts. Like I said yesterday I'm going to keep an open mind on these new cars for a few races so looking forward to the race.

Going to be a long day, watching this then heading to the Vale to watch Regis men march towards Wembley.
