It will be the first push rod suspension he has raced with so no idea tbh. One thing these cars have is a lot less downforce than last year, which he may struggle with.Is Oscar of the same opinion?

McLaren will have push rod suspension. Brilliant news for Norris, not so good for the rest of the grid. Number 2 is on its way![]()

Would be all over that. Unlike other Merc customer teams McLaren have a first look deal where they get an early look at the PU and can make suggestions which means they arent making changes to the car design to accomodate the PU. And tbh i'd back Rob Marshall and Peter Prodromou to build a better car than Mercedes.Interestingly, bookies have Max and George as top two favourites at around 3/1.
Lando available at 11/2.

McLaren are talking sbout overtaking where one car is significantly faster than another due to differing levels of battery charge.Ferrari will shakedown their new car at Fiorano this morning, will be covered live on Sky Sports News.
No doubt Craig Slater clinging to a chicken wire fence on a bridge in the mist!

I'm usually of the opinion that the TV screen looking like AWS Insights has vomited all over it, is a bad thing, but they're going to have to help us as viewers to try to understand the meaning of actual sport underneath the supercomputer dodgems.
And I am dreading the level of comprehension David Croft will have of it all, he's already spectacularly bad at reading a race! He's only just got the hang of DRS and they've canned it!

No doubt Ted Kravitz clinging to a chicken wire fence on a bridge in the mist!
That's the whole point of system though.McLaren are talking sbout overtaking where one car is significantly faster than another due to differing levels of battery charge.
BRING BACK THE V10s! Bloody batteries!
I don't know what time Lewis meets his new Italian engineer, sorry. What time is the Ferrari breakdown, sorry, shakedown on Sky?
"Around 10:30" they said earlier, though they're currently airing that FC show with the mackem presenter where podcasters with London accents talk at length about Man City/Man Utd/Liverpool's problemsWhat time is the Ferrari breakdown, sorry, shakedown on Sky?
I wonder if he’ll tell him to have a cup of tea! That's the whole point of system though.
Better to manage your allocated power than to simply press a button that opens your wing and let's you breeze past.
I don't know what time Lewis meets his new Italian engineer, sorry.
Supposed to happen at the start of the last regs but the variations in sidepod undercuts etc didn't last long. And the zero pod that made some of us on the F1 2022 thread give Merc the title in mid FebruaryIt might just be me but F1 is so tightly regulated that all the cars look basically the same.
I wish we could give teams more freedom and get cars like the 6 wheeler and the fan car!
Tyrell and Brabham IIRC.
I wonder if he’ll tell him to have a cup of tea!
That’s not a great start for Lewis. Here he is! Here comes Ted!
Hamilton has no race engineer appointed yet
Maybe he’s just standing a long way away.Anyone got a photo from above comparing sizes of cars from last season and this season, Ted says the Ferrari looks really small
