F1 2026

I think for me, all I ever want to see is an actual title fight between a mixture of teams.

On current evidence Merc will walk it and there will only be an inter-team fight, but I hope Ferrari can improve a bit. Hamilton v Russel v Antonelli v Leclerc would be fantastic.

Croft….dear me.

Replace him please.

I listened to first half (and a bit) of race on 5 live as was driving then watched the last 20 laps on sky.

Was a refreshing change hearing someone else commentate for a bit.

Russell was absolutely cruising last week to be fair. Difficult to know their relative paces this week, although had George had a normal qualifying session he would’ve won this race I’m sure. He was always going to be knackered being behind the squabbling Ferraris after the start.

Over one lap, I'd agree George has the edge - I think Antonelli looks competitive over a full race length though. I think he'll push George.

Must admit I’m thoroughly enjoying this Papaya downfall. Wonder how much regret Piastri has for bending over for papaya rules and handing his teammates the championship the absolute clown 😂
Not sure that Piastri will ever get a better chance of winning a championship than he did last year. Absolutely blew it in that awful run he had between Baku and Vegas and nowhere near as convinced as others that he has a higher ceiling than Norris either.

Worse than James Allen and that says enough !!
I predict that either he and / or Alonso will walk away before the end of the season.
That would be incredible if its both

Allen for his faults could read a race and had quite good technical knowledge. This clown? I dont even know what he brings.
God I remember James Allen. Toasted Robert Kubica’s first (sadly only) appearance on the top step with the line “well, he’s no Brad Pitt.”
Fantastic

Pleased for Kimi, another very good race for Bearman, I think if he keeps this up for the season he’ll be ready for a step up from Haas next season but hard to see where if the Ferrari drivers are both consistent
