F1 2026

Gotta say, the red/silver/black of the Audis looks fucken mint. Can’t wait to see how they ruin it with sponsor logos.

Not sure how true, but interesting
in what context do we need to be SHOCKED!?!?!? does this feed into something toto was talking about where the engines were going to flatline somewhere? i can't quite remember what the beef was that mercedes were worried about at the time?

Cadillac launching their car at the superbowl half time show ffs, what a dire cringe f1 is fast becoming.

Just in attendance for the btcc for me this year.

They're playing a risky and expensive game there, since a) nobody watching will care and b) their car is likely to be awful. Fully expecting them to be 5 seconds a lap off the pace in qualifying.

Genuinely think it'll end up as a repeat of the Manor or Caterham efforts.

Doesn't look promising when they hire two very aged and out of form / have been absent for a while drivers, a team principle in Lowdon who hasn't exactly got a sparkling CV, ancient Pat Symonds as head engineering consultant who hasn't done anything notable achievement wise in decades, underlined by them effectively saying they just want to make up the numbers this year.

Their effort sounds about exciting as Heartbeat on a Sunday evening.

Personally hope they make a dogs dinner of it, Andretti should have been on the grid this year.

3rd season of the BBC's excellent F1: Back At Base podcast has just started. This time it's partly following rookie drivers Bearman and Antonelli through their first season, and partly following the behind the scenes of the race to get Cadillac F1 on its feet in time for 2026.

Narrated by Rosamund Pike this time around.
