The fantasy F1 game is out for this season. We had one for last season but I don't think many were actively involved in it. I think there was only my team that got changed regularly and that is because my work league is quite competitive with some merch as prizes. I can set a league up in a few minutes but it's pointless if no one is going to do more than set a team at the start of the season. So is there any ideas to increase engagement? Maybe a few quid into a prize fund of some merch for the winner or top 3? Not sure if that is allowed by the mods?

Most of the Sky Sports F1 team were on SSN through out the day today. Must be a launch thing having them all in one place for maybe a photo shoot or filming. Then i noticed a programme was on at 6pm i think discussing the season. George Russell still the fav going into the season

George v Max is a non contest.
I’m no fan of Max, as regular posters know, but he is currently the fastest driver in F1 and the “hardest racer”.
There is another term I could use in place of “hardest racer” but I will exercise some restraint on this occasion.
My dream for this season, and it is a dream, is that Ferrari are quick and Lewis gets his 8th title.

Im going to cherry pick a few episodes, but it means nothing in the grand scheme (as a historical f1 fan).
Ironically, the reviews I've seen suggests the loss of f1s pantomime villian has hurt Netflix more than Red Bull.

The issue has always been, that it’s great for getting new people into the sport. Like a necessary evil. For those who have followed the sport for years it’s garbage.

joined. I got completely screwed by the mclaren disqualification in vegas last year. I would have won my league by a long way.

I boosted my team for china I think it was and stacked it with Ferrari, picked up like 300 points and then thet were all disqualified!!!!
I've got an event on Thursday night with Lance Stroll and Hugo Boss, if hes a nice guy I might get some inside knowledge and add him to my team, or if he's a dick I'll not... lol

I think i'd have gave up had it hit that. I was annoyed because by that point i'd built my budget upto 140 and I was only about 50 points behind the league leader who had 10 million less so I would have easily overtaken after that race. But with the disqualification i was 300 behind and no chance of catching.
I think this season they have changed it so that would be a negative for the team but not the driver.
I think Stroll is probably a nice bloke, he is just slow and only in the car because of who his dad is.

I'm watching it with my other half, because the overdramatic soap opera style presentation is the only thing that keeps her interested in F1.
Since I've tried getting her into F1 she's enjoyed following the big drivers on social media and enjoys all that sort of glossy content. She knows more about the off-track stuff and the gossip than I do! But she quickly loses interest in the actual races unfortunately!
