We saw the same in Friday practice in Miami and Imola, I'm not going to dare to get optimistic yet.

A fascinating race in prospect but maybe not an exciting one.

Given how hard it has been in the past to overtake, the first corner will be critical.

Mercedes have better pace. Red Bull seem to be getting reliability issues but still have a very fast car.

Le Clerc is looking like a champion in waiting. Max seems like a nicer bloke this year.

Natalie Pinkham is fabulous and WE JUST GOT PROMOTED.

Haway the Sunday

Agree with all of that, though I would caveat the bit about overtaking by saying the new regulations have been made with circuits like this in mind, so hopefully it will be better than in previous years.

Merc still clearly the third fastest car on the grid, but having the best driver lineup of all the teams is helping them massively. If Sainz or Perez were in that Merc they’d probably be down in the midfield.

The GP today is like a nice cheeky bonus to the weekend. Brilliant time in London now relax at home with GP , Leeds relegated and will watch batman tonight.

Haway max
