Expectations for 26/27 season

Can we score an extra 10-15 goals in the league next season by looking more fluid going forward. Can we keep the defensive record somewhat where it is (35-45 conceded over a season).

Can we win 1 game a month? (3 wins by end of September would set us up again nicely)

Can we get 25 points before January 1st?

Can we win say 2 games in each cup competition?

That would be my aim. A 16th Place finish but consistently being 3/4 points above the drop would be a success I believe, the most important thing is not dropping back down.

I hope the club is sensible. We’ve massively overachieved this season, so I’d say next year being similar to this year would be amazing.

Continuing to be successful in our transfer dealings both in and out, when we’re at the next level of monies is our next big challenge I think. One good or bad deal when the prices are higher magnifies the risk / reward. If we were to spend say £60m on a player or players like the Mags have with the weak returns that they’ve got would set us back a long way potentially.

Develop our style of football, I want us to play like we did second half against the mags far more often. Take games to opposition and allow our wingers to be more attacking, taking players on and having more shots. Coventry have already confirmed they won't spend money like we have, can't see Boro doing that either so realistically we have be thinking higher than a relegation fight.

No reason why we can't kick on next season and fight for that conference league spot

Consolidate. Another year in mid-table. Take the cups more seriously.
We took the FA Cup very seriously.

Given how early the League Cup game was, it's understandable what happened there.

You'd be banking on the oppo to be as wide open and tactically deficient as they were on the day. Not gonna happen very often. We exploited them.

I'd prefer us to concentrate on results.

Ipswich, Sheff Utd, Burnley, bound to be one or two more, who have had a good/great first season back & then follow it with a real struggle during the second season. Be good not to follow in those footsteps.

I really thought we'd cracked it with Reidy but we know how that turned out.

More than happy if we mirror our league placing next term but have a decent cup run thrown in for good measure.

More bothered about this season at the moment. Got a load of injured players back by the looks of it and favourable fixtures. Let’s finish as high as possible.

It will be exceptionally hard to repeat what weve done this season, which has been incredible when you compare our budget compared to some of the teams we're likely to finish ahead of.

Think the key is to have another strong start. But the aim will be to stay up again. And id love to go deep in a cup.

A tougher season than this one given a little less of the newly promoted enthusiasm factor and a lack of surprise element for other teams. Some fans won't be patient as a result, demanding linear progress year on year. We might flirt with the relegation places on occasion but we wont go down, especially as I think those that go up will be a lot weaker than this year.

Hopefully, in 2 or 3 years we'll be a prem mainstay and our new par will be about 10th. We'll then have seasons where we flirt with relegation vs europe/cups as a worst vs best case scenario
