Humility is the greatest of attributes but before the season started Iam not sure what else you were supposed to think.
Some players (unknown to us) had made enormous progress over the summer i.e. Jobe, Mayenda, Rigg, Mundle. Some players were fit Cirkin, Alese(for a time). Some new players have been as good as we could hope ie Mepham, Wilson and finally some old players ie Roberts had been rekindled.

This was down to the impact of a new coach of whom we knew nothing but who has applied top level coaching.

The way the previous season finished did not fill anyone full of faith. Its fair to say faith is something we now have in bucket fulls

Tbf it’s hindsight.

Prior to the beginning of the season, no one would have had much hope of a good start. Definitely not one as good as this so far.

Credit where it’s due, the players and coaching staff are smashing it so far.

Who cares if the op was right or wrong about the shit start to the season, as long as we keep winning we should all just be happy, because let’s be honest the last 7 or 8 years have been the worst in our history.
I live surrounded by the fans of the so called big four in the north west and they couldn’t believe just how far we sank.
Let’s just enjoy the fact the club seems be getting its act together.
