We've definitely shown more signs of attacking intent in these last few weeks compared to a mid season lull.

Think it set it 1) We are safe and 2) There's absolutely nothing to fear.

Still got to be abit more clinical and take our chances when they come and make better decisions but that will all come now. Confidence will be through the roof.
 
Not quite ...we should quite easily have scored 4 or 5 today and and an own goal effectively won the game for us. We still need to improve our finishing up top.....had we been a bit better at this this season we could have finished above Liverpool in the Champions league spots.
Im not really being critical as I am overthe moon at finishing 7th ....but if we had converted those one on ones ( another one spurned today ) we would probably be seeing Mackems in Milan next season

A couple of months ago we weren't creating those one on ones, though. That's my entire point.

Players starting to find each other with passes without looking lately. We were finally a well oiled mechanism, not just a defensive unit looking for breaks.
Dominated Everton, Man Utd, Chelsea and almost beat Villa at their place.

Gerty plus 2-3 class signings in the summer and we could have another fantastic season with spectacular football coming up.
 
If they’d played second half of the season like they’d played today we’d be in Champions League. But I am NOT complaining. What a day. I thought 365 days ago was my greatest ever after 50 years of SAFC support and then they do this 😎🤯

Nee idea. I was in the hoose. I don't really like watching in a pub cos people want to talk to you while the match is on and I'm an unsociable b*stard when I'm watching the game. I just wanna watch the game. :lol:

It's totally different when I go across to watch at the stadium, I can just sit and take it all in but in a pub...
