Everton fans yesterday

Always had a soft spot for Everton. They've got a fantastic history, some fantastic footballers over the years and had a horrible few years (better than ours, mind,) like us.

They've got arrogant, bell end neighbours who think the sun shines out of their arse (like us).

They've had to put up with David Moyes (twice for them the poor buggers), like us.

We've got some shared history with players and managers over the years as well as men and women who have come from either area and represented one or the other too.

Howard Kendall, Peter Reid, Paul Bracewell, Jordan Pickford, Don Hutchison, Aiden McGeady andGavin McCann to name some good 'uns.

Ok
I'll be corrected , but I join in with every chant and every time I heard that it was just the ' you laughed at us when we were shite' repeated
I never heard it in my block behind the goal
Yeah that makes sense as I was basically at the opposite end where I think it was trying to be started and thankfully failed we have a great set of songs so don't need to resort to that rubbish

Yes I was and it absolutely was.

Like I say very quiet so depending where you were sat you may not have heard it
Maybe where we were we all sang the superior chant so never heard it and if that's the case Everton fans wouldn't
We sang that loads and can't see 'when I was young ' being sang much in the future.

What I loved about yesterday was we were pretty vocal , loads of variety , all backing sunderland (or anti mags).
Nothing negative /antagonistic about Liverpool / Everton.

Wasnt sung
'you laughed at us when we were shite, we came back up and beat you twice,
One nil at home, two one away,
All the geordies ran away'

Repeated

I never heard anything else but that was sang loads. Maybe a few kids sang the other verse near the people who heard the McCann version, or maybe they got confused and assumed the other version was sang , but like you , I never heard it. We sang the above loads like 👊😎💪

Class, likeable club, but sometimes don't know how to take their fans.

They seemed odd in the FA Cup game up here and not exactly friendly after the game. I was down there for the away fixture and got talking to a few of their fans before the game and one of them was arguing (very seriously too) that Fellaini was better than Messi. I struggled to talk to him after that remark.
