Almost every Everton fan I've ever met have been sound people. Very similar to us in their fibta outlook and generally grounded. Solid, working class club, no airs and graces, pleased to have a pint with you but if you want bother/to act the arse there's always someone who will be happy to entertain you. I might be biased a little having enjoyed a romantic dalliance, in my halcyon days, with a Toffee Girl but I can relate to Everton.

Meanwhile their red neighbours have always come across to me as arrogant, entitled fuckwits. Granted their records can allow for the entitlement to some extent but the arrogance isn't necessary. The mags similarities to them is visible, and imho contributes to the mutual friendship/respect us and Everton appear to show. I've also seen plenty of wankerish behaviour from the Kopites both at SoL and Anfield including coach windows going in and scarfers getting jumped, completely unnecessary arsehole behaviour. I'm not saying we (or any club) don't have a % of arseholes, but they come across as the vocal and visible majority at certain clubs throughout the football pyramid. Coventry, Portsmouth in recent times lower down the leagues, the mags since 92 and before and for me definitely Kopites and Spuds.

I'd like to hope that we aren't seen in a similar light by other clubs fans, stay humble while chasing success and never forget how low we had to fall to rebuild. A lot of the twat-ish behaviour imho stems from getting too up your own arse and believing your own mythology.

Yeah can't remember the exact figures but its something like 75+% of Everton ST holders have 'L' postcodes while for the red side its like <30% or so.

Or a meringue
