Eurovision shortlist hosts

Manchester would be the easy option with the BBC's presence there (well, Salford actually) but I suspect that it will be either Glasgow or Birmingham. Both have the airport connectivity, lots of hotels and the recent experience of big events. Hope it's Glasgow just to see Nicola Sturgeon there supporting the UK entry,

Liverpool will drone on about the Beatles and then blame everyone else when they lose out. Other cities have no chance.

Has to be Newcastle. The NE has been beaten each and every time to everything by cities in the NW (mainly Manchester and Liverpool), the Black Country like Coventry and Birmingham and the SE - especially London.

It’s time other places got some big event.
Coventry and Birmingham are not in the Black Country.
