European allocations

Went to England v Ukraine in Wroclaw few year ago and it was a class away trip . Be ideal if we ended up there
High chance of a trip to Poland.

I can see Zabzre and Poznan dropping down from CL quals. Bialystok are in Europa quals but can't see them making it through.

Then you have Dynamo Kyiv who have qualified for Europa and will most likely play in Poland. They played in Lublin last year.
hope we get Vestri away. its the very north of Iceland in the

Ísafjarðarbær

region, 6 hour drive north from Reykjavik. theres a tiny airport with only one flight to Reykjavic

although their ground is only 1500 so they'd have to play somehwere else i guess

Would play at the National Stadium in Reykjavik. Mind you, it wouldn't be a good session at Icelandic prices!

Interesting that they didn't sell out for fenerbache away
I remember seeing various clips online of Villa being bussed to the stadium 4 hours before ko, then stadium was dry, didn't look like much fun tbh. No doubt that will have put a lot off going as that game was before Forest played there.

yep just keep it the same

no points for just applying, no ballots, no extra points for different games. its unfair and they'll make a right mess of it
That's what Brighton do for their aways.
More points for Northern aways then London, etc. and I think cup games and midweek games get more points. But their away following is not as big as ours so it makes sense for them to give bigger incentives for the not so popular ones.

With us I think just leave it as it as and then in theory some of the less popular league away games should go down to 0 points or GS because people will be wanting to do Europe instead. That then gives the chance everyone who's complained this year about not being able to get to aways (yes they will have to do the less popular ones but that's how most of us had to start).

Also like you say, can you imagine our TO trying to come up with a dynamic point system 🤣

My son is on a school trip to Iceland in October when one of our fixtures is scheduled. Be class if we played there while he was there. I didn’t want him to miss one 😂

Tbh I think they should leave it as is (assuming they just give 1 point for a home Europa game....

Wow. Really? It is time home fans were rewarded. They aren't rewarded as well as the away supporters. The home support is the most important one of all. its OUR team. It is OUR Stadium of Light. It is OUR city.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on starting point for away games next season? Anyway in terms of league games? Be interesting to see how they do the tickets for away Europa I know mags have to apply

Who knows what the starting point will be for league games. As we all know the ticket operations are carried out in mysterious ways!!!!
I would think the Europa allocation will be based on loyalty points,or at least for the group games.

I'm in Portugal for the first 2 weeks of September
i'm there for the last 2 weeks of september and the first week of october. i hope the stars align and we play at the algarve stadium again. it was class last year for the friendlies, we have a house along the coast about 30 miles from faro so it was a no brainer.
i wasn't going to bother with any of the away legs regardless of where they were but just managed to get time off whenever i want as the boss wants to stop at our place over there next year. quite fancy some far flung place in the back of beyond.

Doing the lords work there mate, cheers for that. Anyone massively jumped the gun and booked a hotel for the final in Frankfurt on the off chance we get there? I’m guilty of it 🤣
Erm... Yup. FFS, I'm giddy.

Me and the boy booked into the Mercure for a couple of days.
